The Excelencias Cuba 2023 Awards, whose call for entries is open until Feb. 25, were presented Tuesday by Excelencias Group President Jose Carlos de Santiago at a press conference held in Havana.

At a ceremony held on Jan. 24 during the FITUR 2024 International Tourism Trade Fair, a total of 45 projects from 19 countries received awards as part of the Excelencias 2023 Awards, which the Excelencias Group presents to promote development in different fields related to tourism, gastronomy and culture in Ibero-America.

Every year, the Excelencias Group receives hundreds of excellent nominations from projects created with enthusiasm, effort and tenacity. This year the call for entries will be open from November 1 to December 5, 2023. We encourage you to prepare your projects and submit them.

Mr. José Carlos de Santiago, President of Grupo Excelencias received a special recognition for his outstanding work as a manager, academic, and promoter of Ibero-American cuisine.

The 10th Excelencias Gourmet International Gastronomic Seminar kicks off this Wednesday, Oct. 10, and will be held at the Tropicana Cabaret until Oct. 13.
