The decision to give the name of Excelencias to a tourism magazine devoted to the travel industry in the Caribbean and the Americas puzzled several critics in that summer of 1997, when it was launched within the framework of Fiesta del Fuego, in Santiago de Cuba

Issue 26 of the Arte por Excelencias magazine was presented Thursday Nov. 5 at the Corner Café, a peculiar place in the Havana neighborhood of El Vedado.

Issue 136 of the Excelencias magazine wants to be a reason to make you travel through its pages to the most beautiful and interesting places that make up the Central American destinations. Here the reader will find adventure, multi-destination, strolls down pre-Hispanic ruins, colonial cities, sunken treasures, exotic beaches and a whole lot more.

"We give our love and heart to Santiago"

Santiago de Cuba is ready to celebrate, on July 25, the 500th anniversary of its foundation by Governor Diego Velasquez, along with the Caribbean Festival, and the Excelencias Group has played an important role in these developments, by shedding more light on them.
