The Spanish Association of Periodical Publishers (AEEPP), which delivered its 2012 Editor awards on Thursday as part of an event that has reached its seventh edition, decided once again to give our Grupo Excelencias one of its recognitions, the company's fourth in a row.
The 2011 Excelencias Awards were presented on Wednesday, January 18, 17.00 - 17.45 hours, at the 2012 Fitur Conference Room, in Pavilion 10, booth 10F24.

Jose Carlos de Santiago, President and CEO of the Excelencias Group, on behalf of Spain-based Doña Maria de las Mercedes Foundation and the Latin American Gastronomy Academy –close collaborators- unveiled this project to the technical council of Central America, gathered in Panama on the occasion of the regional tourism fair.
Among the Editors of the Year, the President and Editor-in-Chief of Excelencias Group, Jose Carlos de Santiago, was awarded with the 2011 Accesit Award for Best General Publication Editor, granted by the Spanish Association of Periodical Publication Editors, which analyzed all magazines and newspapers published in 2010.

“The grand challenge presently faced by the culinary art all over the world is obtaining a balance between pleasure and health, from each region’s characteristics”, said Mr. Rafael Anson, Chairman of the Royal Gastronomy Academy of Spain and the Latin American Gastronomy Academy, during a master lecture in the final sessions of the International Gastronomic Seminar organized by the Excelencias Group in Havana.
