The agreement to acquire the resort was successfully reached after ongoing discussions with the government of Grenada and represents the brand’s first property in this eastern Caribbean country.

Hilton Worldwide signed a management agreement with El Hotel Pilar, S.A. for a new 170-room hotel in Pilar, Argentina. The hotel will form part of a mixed-use development featuring 130 residential condominium units. The Hilton Pilar Hotel & Residences is currently under construction and expected to open in March 2015. The property will be Hilton Hotels & Resorts’ third and Hilton Worldwide’s fifth hotel in Argentina. The three-story property will feature an upscale lobby that integrates the hotel's restaurant, two bars and business center.
