Zika’s arrival in the continental United States has been anticipated since last fall, following the virus’ rapid spread through the Caribbean and Latin America.

Following reported local mosquito transmission of zika virus infection, the Centers for Disease Control and Preventions has issued a zika virus travel notice for Saba.
