U.S. President Barack Obama greeted staff from the newly reopened American embassy in Havana on Sunday, hailing an "historic opportunity" with Cuba.

U.S. President Barack Obama, together with First Lady Michelle Obama and their children, walked through the streets of Old Havana Sunday as part of a historic three-day trip to Cuba.

Built from 1939 to 1942, the two-story building is more than half the size of the White House, according to U.S. State Department data, and was constructed with the finest materials and craftsmanship of the time.
