According to leading villa rental experts, Jamaica has seen an unprecedented increase in advance bookings for 2019.
The tourism industry of Island nation Dominica has outperformed the projections for 2018 and government is all set to make more investment in 2019 to boost the tourism.
The quarter also represents a marginal increase of 0.9% over the same period in 2016. November 2018 was the first month to show an increase over the same month in 2016, with an increase of 15.6 % over November 2016.
Jamaica’s winter bookings are pacing above last year this time, with the return of a buoyant meetings and incentive (MICE) market playing a major role in the country’s earning potentials.
Visitor arrivals in Antigua grew by nearly nine percent in 2018, said Colin James of the Antigua and Barbuda tourism Authority.
Over the past years, the Guyana Tourism Authority has worked on raising the profile of Destination Guyana through increased product development, awareness raising activities and niche marketing.
