More than 1.1 million tourists visited Peru’s world renowned Inca city of Machu Picchu making it one of Peru’s most visited tourist attractions in 2015, says the sanctuary’s chief, Juan Carlos Nieto.

Adding another feather to its cap, Peru emerged as one of the top favorite in The People’s Choice Top 10 destinations for adventure tourism in 2016, Rough Guides revealed.

More backpackers and adventure groups have started showing interest in visiting the landlocked Andean country of Bolivia. Travel experts have identified it as one of the ‘must see’ destinations for 2016.

Burwood Beach, located in Falmouth, Trelawny, was upgraded at a cost of around $232,000 USD by Jamaica’s Tourism Enhancement Fund. Bistros and bars will be added.
