The biggest hotel in the world is being built in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, offering 10,000 rooms, helicopter pads and convenience for the Masjid al-Haram.

The number of Americans interested in travel to Cuba if all U.S. Government restrictions are lifted has increased slightly over 2014. Conversely, the number who indicated they have no interest in traveling to Cuba has decreased substantially since last year.

Grenada has launched a new marketing initiative aimed at courting female travelers. The Grenada Tourism Authority has launched a promotion called “Grenada Girls Getaway,” a seven-month program set to begin June 1.

Trinidad & Tobago Tourism Development Company Limited (TDC) is pleased to announce the launch of the Trinidad & Tobago Travel Agent Specialist Program. Program participants are then encouraged to record their bookings on the website in order to become eligible for prizes.

Tourist arrivals in the country by air grew by 30.7 percent between 2010 and 2014, representing more than one million visitors, said Simon Suarez, president of Asonahores, the Dominican Republic’s hotel and tourism association.
