Regions in Peru’s central jungle such as Pasco have broadened their tourist appeal by implementing new routes, which explains the ongoing investment in infrastructure projects to welcome the thousands of visitors expected for national holidays.
Preliminary figures for the first half of 2014 released by Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) show that UK tourist visits to the Caribbean island have increased by 16 percent, year on year. Grenada recorded a 14 percent increase in visitors from January to July 2014.
The Caribbean region is currently facing a great challenge as the importation of food supplies continues to rise. As a result, there is a renewed call for countries to design and implement agricultural development policies to step up production and consumption.
