According to research by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), Cape Verde features in the top ten countries in the world for long-term tourism growth (2014 – 2024). International property investors are already reaping the rewards.

UNWTO and IATA have formally agreed to jointly advocate for innovation and talent development in the public and private sectors as a means to promote competitive and sustainable tourism development.

Two million tourists visited Guatemala in 2013, representing a significant increase for the country's tourism industry. In April 2014, the country enjoyed a 26 percent increase when compared to last year's figures in the same period.
