The American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) commends the Obama Administration for taking another giant step toward allowing Americans to travel freely to Cuba. In regulations issued by the Commerce and Treasury departments, travel agents will be legally unencumbered from selling authorized travel services to Cuba, effective upon publication in the Federal Register.

The arrival of foreign tourists to Argentina via all means of transport increased 7.7 percent in November 2014 compared with the same month last year, according to the latest official figures. The total number of visitors for the first 11 months of 2014 was 13.9 percent higher than for the same period of 2013, finds Argentina’s National Institute for the Promotion of Tourism.

The overall stay over arrivals in 2014 recorded an increase of 3 percent. Altogether, 452.042 stay over visitors were welcomed in 2014 reflecting a significant increase of 11.291 visitors. The European region registered 6 percent more visitors.
