Jamaica is targeting the installation of green energy solution in the country’s hotel stock, according to Energy Minister Philip Paulwell. The Minister said the push came against what he called the administration’s “recognition of the need to source and provide alternative energy options to oil.”

Puerto Rico is predicted to double its number of hotels from now until the year 2024 which will supposedly bring the existing 14,000 rooms to more than 28,000, according to the secretary of the Department of Economic Development and Commerce, Alberto Bacó.
