ASICOTUR Huddles with Ecuadorian Tourism Executives

As part of the activities derived from the recently concluded Smart Ecuador International Congress, a working meeting was held on Thursday, June 22, between executives of the Andean country and members of the International Association for Tourism Cooperation (ASICOTUR).

The meeting, held at the headquarters of the Ecuadorian Chamber of Tourism, was attended by Ecuador's Undersecretary of Tourism Carlos Andres Orozco; Mr. Rafael Roldan, honorary president of the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Quito; and Jose Carlos de Santiago, president of the Excelencias Group, who participated as Treasurer and member of ASICOTUR's Board of Directors, among others. 

The meeting became a propitious framework to talk about various cooperation projects in the field of tourism and analyzed the basis for future collaborations in favor of the promotion of Ecuadorian tourism.

The International Association for Tourist Cooperation (ASICOTUR) is a non-profit organization, with its own legal personality and full capacity to act, being able to carry out all those acts that are necessary for the fulfillment of its purposes.

The Quito Chamber of Tourism is an organization that represents the interests of the tourism sector in the city of Quito, Ecuador. Its main objective is to promote and develop tourism in the region, as well as to protect and improve the quality of tourism services offered in the city.
