Ryanair has reached a landmark deal with Booking Holdings, the parent company of Booking.com, KAYAK, Priceline, and Agoda, allowing these platforms to legally sell Ryanair tickets.

This agreement ends a long-standing legal dispute that began in 2020, when Ryanair accused the platforms of reselling its tickets without authorization, adding hidden fees, and obstructing direct communication with passengers.

Under the new deal, full price transparency is guaranteed, and customers will receive essential flight updates directly from Ryanair, without the need to complete extra checks on myRyanair. The agreement also removes the requirement for users to create a Ryanair account to make a purchase, simplifying the booking experience.

This settlement resolves ongoing litigation in both U.S. and European courts, where Ryanair had previously won rulings confirming that the online travel platforms’ practices were illegal. The airline aims to protect consumers and enhance the low-cost flight booking experience across over 235 destinations.

Ryanair has already signed similar agreements with other platforms like TUI and Expedia, further expanding its presence on authorized and transparent sales channels.
