New markets are opening up and with them new opportunities. This panel will present what we need to know, understand, and
do to attract visitors from the Gulf states and Latin America, as well as from the African-American market.
Renowned executives and professionals from the media sector will participate in the debate, such as: Sarah Glover, Vice President of News and Civic Dialogue at WHYY News; Dawit Habtemarian, Global Tourism Journalist at Skift and Henry Zamarripa, Executive specialized in Latin America and emerging markets. The moderator will be Melissa Noel, News and Politics Editor at ESSENCE Magazine and Founder and CEO of Mel&N Media Group.
All the information provided to the speakers was the result of a management that the CTO together with EM Marketing & Communication is developing in collaboration, with the aim of achieving new business opportunities for all the countries of the Caribbean and Latin American bloc. In this way, the alliance seeks to generate new synergies by participating in fairs; special events; road shows and any initiative that can bring them closer.
Among the topics consulted: destinations in the Caribbean most chosen by Latin Americans, interests of the public in the region; travel times and average expenses.
The aim of the CTO is to show the Caribbean as a block where all Dutch, English and French speaking countries are included. “They feel supported by the communication agencies with which they work around the world and in our case, as an allied member in Latin America, we seek to provide support with the aim of strengthening relations and generating new opportunities between our region and the Caribbean as a everything”, concludes Elsa Petersen, CEO of EM Marketing & Communication.
