Seville, February 14, 2023. Sevilla City Office and the company MITM Events, a pioneering group in the MICE sector since 1974, have presented the next edition of CULTOURFAIR, the only international B2B premium cultural tourism tradeshow in the world. This event returns to Seville and celebrates the 25th anniversary of the world's first B2B MICE and Cultural tourism tradeshow, which took place in the Seville in 1997.

The event will take place at the Marqués de Contadero visitor center from September 24th to 26th and has already been presented to the tourism sector at an event attended by representatives of the main professional associations, the Provincial Tourism Delegation of the Junta of Andalusia, Andalusian Tourism and Prodetur.

Culture and creativity are two features that identify the city, which has designed and launched unique cultural tourism products that recover and promote its heritage, music, cinema and contemporary crafts.

"We thank Seville for its unconditional support for so many years and especially at the beginning, when in 1997 we presented this project, a totally novel idea, in which very few professionals in the sector believed could work – hosting B2B tourism tradeshows with preestablished appointments. Seville did, trusting and supporting us to host the first B2B MICE and Cultural tourism tradeshow in the world. In short time, the entire industry agreed with us", commented Charo Trabado, CEO of MITM Events, which has also opened markets outside of Europe and has organized a total of 58 tradeshows in 37 cities across 18 countries.

CULTOURFAIR – Global Heritage Culture and Gastronomy Travel Market – celebrates its tenth edition in Seville and has already taken place in eight cities in five countries, the last two editions in Madrid, with the support of the Comunidad de Madrid and the Capital. The last edition had 125 participants hailing from 23 countries, and around 2,000 business meetings were held with an estimated economic impact in the medium and long term of more than 200 million euros.

The organization of the event carries out an intense international promotional campaign directly to its network of contacts, which exceeds 300,000 executives from 150 countries, to attract between 300 and 600 potential buyers, of which only 50 are approved to participate – those with the greatest business potential. All of them directors and executives with decision-making power, specialized in: luxury travel, events (sports, music, wine, gourmet, etc.), MICE, city-breaks, heritage, gastronomy, folklore, religious, etc...

GSAR Marketing, the organizing company, is a global tourism marketing company that is part of the Convenco Group: the first "Incentive House" in Spain founded 46 years ago, in 1973.
