Club Med, the pioneer of the all-inclusive concept, unveiled exciting updates, including a new water park at Club Med Punta Cana and renovations at Club Med Cancún, Gregolimano (Greece), and Serre Chevalier (French Alps). The Punta Cana water park, now the largest in Club Med’s portfolio, features 25 fun zones designed for family enjoyment. In Cancún, updates include a Sports and Wellness Island, a Mayan-themed Splash Park, and a relocated Kids’ Club offering enhanced facilities for families, including a new Baby Club for children aged 4 months to 23 months.

In Europe, Club Med Gregolimano reopened after a $32 million renovation, introducing eco-friendly upgrades like solar panels and drought-resistant landscaping. The resort’s expanded room capacity and new wellness facilities were designed by renowned French interior designers, combining sustainability with luxury. Similarly, Club Med Serre Chevalier underwent a full transformation, integrating Briançonnais-inspired design, energy-efficient features, and enhanced wellness offerings to align with Club Med’s green hospitality goals.

The company achieved record-breaking growth in 2024, with $1.25 billion in business volume during the first half of the year. Winter bookings surged by 22% compared to 2023, with mountain resorts now accounting for 45% of the brand's revenue. Recent portfolio updates included openings in China and France, alongside plans for a new resort in the Gulf States and further expansions in the Caribbean and Southeast Asia. Club Med’s shift to upscale offerings solidified its position as a leader in premium all-inclusive vacations.

Sustainability remains a cornerstone of Club Med's strategy through its "Happy to Care" program. The company aims to operate all European mountain resorts on low-carbon energy by 2025 and has reduced single-use plastics across its properties. Local sourcing is another focus, with over 60% of fresh food sourced from nearby producers. Initiatives such as reef conservation in the Bahamas and sea turtle protection in Mexico underscore Club Med’s commitment to preserving local ecosystems.

Looking ahead, Club Med plans to achieve 100% Green Globe certification for its resorts by 2025. Social impact initiatives, like the Green Farmers program in the Dominican Republic and food redistribution in Québec Charlevoix, highlight its dedication to community engagement. Club Med’s vision, rooted in the philosophy of founder Gérard Blitz, continues to prioritize sustainable tourism while delivering unforgettable, family-friendly vacation experiences worldwide.
