Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana Announces Renovation Plans

Karisma Hotels & Resorts, in partnership with Paramount, announced new openings and renovations at Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Designed to create a new experience for guests, the transformation includes culinary innovations, updates to the resort's unique and immersive features and an expansion of the family-favorite water park, Aqua Nick.

Phase one of Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana will officially launch in spring 2024 with the opening of two new offerings that will allow children and adults to enjoy a sweet wave of Nickelodeon nostalgia and gourmet delights.     

Spearheading this transformation is the introduction of Snick Lounge, a 90s-inspired luxury space. With a dynamic arcade, sports lounge and live music venue, Snick Lounge evokes the best of Nickelodeon. from the 90s, with design elements from the brand's hits of the time with a contemporary touch. Guests will have the opportunity to recreate their childhood memories and also relax on the iconic Big Orange Sofa.

Improvements in food and drink have also taken center stage. The resort is proud to present The Sweetery, a paradise for coffee lovers and ice cream enthusiasts alike, featuring the perfect photo op, where guests can embrace the charm of Nickelodeon's adorable and iconic Grumpy Cat. , Garfield, known for his antics, his love of lasagna and his hatred of Mondays, adding a touch of nostalgia to your dining experience. With a coffee bar and irresistible ice cream options, customers can choose from soft serve sundaes, popsicles and a variety of toppings and cones. At The Sweetery, visitors can also indulge in a savory treat with a selection of charcuterie and tasty cold cuts to add flavor to their dining adventure.

Beginning in early 2024, additional resort enhancements will include new elements such as in-room art updates and themed dining experiences. Aqua Nick, the resort's world-famous water park, will include a new main entrance, two pools with a slide tower, restrooms, water games and lounge chairs with large umbrellas. 2024 will also see new additions to the resort's live entertainment offering, with more Slime and opportunities for guests to interact with some of their favorite Nickelodeon characters.
