Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has announced its latest venture in the Caribbean with the introduction of Rosewood Exuma, a high-end resort set to open in 2028. This new addition to Rosewood’s Caribbean portfolio will offer an exceptional blend of luxury and adventure on a pristine private island in the Bahamas.

Located on the 124-acre East Sampson Cay, Rosewood Exuma will feature 33 exclusive suites, each boasting panoramic views of the island’s stunning pink and white sands as well as its azure waters. The resort’s design will embrace Rosewood's A Sense of Place® philosophy, integrating local influences and showcasing the natural beauty of the Exumas.

Guests can expect a diverse range of amenities, including six dining venues that highlight local flavors and ingredients from the resort’s organic garden. The Rosewood Asaya® wellness concept will provide a dedicated 20,000 square-foot sanctuary offering a comprehensive range of wellness treatments, including hydrotherapy, a serene outdoor pool, and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

The resort will also feature an expansive beach club with dining options, a beach and pool bar, and a private dining room. Two marinas will accommodate yachts up to 150 feet, enhancing the appeal for travelers exploring the surrounding islands. Additionally, the resort will offer three swimming pools, one of which will be family-oriented, and the Rosewood Explorers kids’ club designed to engage young guests with activities that encourage exploration and creativity.

Radha Arora, President of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, expressed enthusiasm about the new project, highlighting the resort’s commitment to providing a distinctive luxury experience while honoring the essence of the Exumas. Felipe MacLean, CEO of Yntegra Group, emphasized the shared vision of both partners to create an exceptional destination that blends luxury with sustainable development practices.

Sustainability is a core focus, with only 25% of the island's land being developed and initiatives like solar power being implemented to minimize environmental impact. The resort is designed to harmonize with the natural landscape, ensuring that future generations can enjoy the beauty of the Exumas while maintaining a legacy of responsible development.
