YOTEL Makes Greek Debut with Launch of YOTELPAD Athens

YOTEL, the design-driven, tech-focused hospitality brand, has announced its first entry into Greece with the unveiling of YOTELPAD Athens, a 113-key urban aparthotel that will open in late 2026. The project is part of YOTEL’s growing push into Europe’s extended-stay market, in partnership with London-based investment firm Valpre Capital.
Set across three centrally located buildings in Athens — Iras in Neos Kosmos, Miltiadou in Monastiraki, and Peiraios in Omonoia — YOTELPAD Athens will blend apartment-style living with YOTEL’s signature smart design and tech-enhanced service. Each location will feature brand staples such as Mission Control, Grab+Go, Wash+Go, and fully equipped gyms, with the Peiraios site also offering a rooftop terrace boasting panoramic views of the Athens skyline.
“Athens is buzzing with energy,” said Rohan Thakkar, YOTEL’s Chief Development Officer. “With record-breaking international arrivals, increasing hotel occupancy, and regulatory shifts limiting short-term rentals, the market is primed for branded, extended-stay concepts. YOTELPAD Athens is our answer to this demand.”
Designed with both short-term visitors and long-stay residents in mind, each PAD — whether a studio or one-bedroom unit — will feature space-efficient layouts, tech-forward amenities, and the comfort of modern apartment living. The adaptive concept targets business and leisure travelers alike, bringing a fresh alternative to the traditional hotel model.
YOTELPAD Athens represents a strategic milestone for YOTEL, signaling its commitment to offering future-ready urban accommodations in key European capitals. Backed by Valpre Capital, the project also reflects investor confidence in Athens as a resilient, high-growth travel hub.
With its upcoming launch, YOTELPAD Athens positions itself as a bold new player in the Greek hospitality market—combining flexibility, design, and technology in the heart of one of Europe’s most vibrant cities.
