“Curacao Now” Promotion to Run Again in 2009

The “Curacao Now” promotion is back for a second year, with deals worth over $700 being offered by the island’s government agencies, hoteliers, car rental agencies, and dive and tour operators. During the promotion, travelers to Curacao will receive savings on their vacation packages.

“The incredible success of Curacao Now 2008 encouraged us to bring the program back in 2009. It’s a win-win for us and our valued visitors whether they are first-time guests or are returning to the island for the second or third time,” said Brenda Benjamin, director of marketing for the Curacao Tourism Board.

The booking windows are Jan. 15 to March 15 and May 15 to July 15. The 2009 travel periods are May 1 to July 1 and Aug. 15 to Dec. 15. Travelers who book their trips to Curacao during the selected time periods will be eligible for these Curacao Now savings which include a $100 per person credit on airline tickets; $140 food & beverage credit; free nights at a participating hotels; a free dive day; a free car rental day; discounted admission to Curacao’s museums; half price attractions, tours and transfers; and high value shopping discounts in downtown Willemstad.

Participating hotels include All West Apartments; Avila Hotel; Blue Bay Village; Bon Bini Sea Side Resort; Breezes Curacao Resort; Curacao Marriott Beach Resort & Emerald Casino; Floris Suite Hotel; Habitat Curacao; Hilton Curacao; Hotel Kura Hulanda, Spa & Casino; Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel; Lodge Kura Hulanda and Beach Club; Marazul Dive Resort; Otrobanda Hotel & Casino; Renaissance Curacao; Trupial Inn & Casino; and the Veneto Casino Holiday Beach Resort.
