Barcelona’s Grand Hotel Central Offers Winter Rates

Barcelona’s Grand Hotel Central is offering special winter rates featuring a 10 percent discount for stays of three consecutive nights or more starting at 140 euros ($193) for a Central or Executive room through March 31.

The Grand Hotel Central is located in the center of Barcelona on the Vie Laietana between the Born and Barrio Gotic Districts, providing easy access to many of the city’s major attractions including the Barcelona Cathedral and Picasso Museum.

The hotel’s 147 rooms and suites use accents inspired by the building’s original 1920s architecture with details such as wrought iron lamps, stone cornicing, wood floors and restored antique bronze front doors in the foyer and lobby.

The hotel also features the newly renovated rooftop SkyBar and infinity pool; a Wellness Suite offering spa treatments and massages; the Avalon Restaurant & Café, serving up a twist on Catalan cuisine by Michelin-starred Chef Ramon Freixa; a library lounge specializing in books about Barcelona; fitness center; business center; and flexible meeting space and conference rooms.
