Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa will launch a new Key West Luxury Village on May 22, the company announced Wednesday. The new wing marks the resort’s first major expansion since 2009, said company officials, and will feature more than 150 suites and villas, three restaurants and several private pools. Beaches Turks & Caicos currently features Caribbean, French and Italian villages.

The new Key West Village will feature an East and West wings comprised of villas and two-story buildings reminiscent of Key West. The central Veranda House will be a four-story building housing luxury rooms and one- and two-bedroom loft-style suites. Eight exclusive villas with three and four bedrooms set along the beach with private pools will be available for groups and multi-generational families.

Every Key West Luxury Village room will be concierge-level and above and include 20 butler service villas and suites, all equipped with kitchens with stainless steel appliances and espresso machines.

Key West Luxury Village will also offer three additional dining options, bringing the number of restaurants at the resort to 19, more than any other resort in Sandals’ portfolio. The Marin Restaurant will overlook Grace Bay Beach on Providenciales and be the brand’s signature beachfront restaurant; the Sky Lounge Restaurant, offering Italian cuisine and local, fresh seafood; and Grill Bleu Restaurant, a beachside casual restaurant with panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea.

The new wing will also offer three additional swimming pools and private plunge pools for guests in villa accommodations; a kid’s center and a fitness center.
