Beaches Turks & Caicos Set to Reopen

Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa will reopen Oct. 19, following a brief closure for enhancements and additions.

New features include the Sky Ride at Pirates Island Waterpark, butler cabanas around the pool at the French Village, more hibachi tables at Kimonos restaurant and more golf carts for transfer services between the resort's four villages.

Sesame Street's Oscar the Grouch joins the kiddie entertainment lineup with his "From Trash to Treasure" arts-and-crafts activity and his Sing-A-Long opening act for the stage show.
