Breezes Bahamas Resort and Spa Offers $100 to Hurricane Namesakes

Breezes Bahamas Resort and Spa in Nassau is offering $100 credit to anyone who has the same name as a hurricane. The resort is giving the credit to anyone whose legal name is the same as one listed on the 2013 National Hurricane Center list of storms. Those names include Andrea, Barry, Chantal, Dorian, Erin, Fernand, Gabrielle, Humberto, Ingrid, Jerry, Karen, Lorenzo, Melissa, Nestor, Olga, Pablo, Rebekah, Sebastien, Tanya, Van and Wendy. The $100 credit counts toward any five-night stay at the resort with travel by Oct. 31.

 Fall rates at the Nassau beach resort start at $123 per person double occupancy per night. Breezes Bahamas offers a Hurricane Guarantee that stipulates that if a hurricane does happen during the clients’ stay, they will receive a reimbursement for the total value of disrupted nights plus a voucher for the same number of disrupted nights for use during the same month the following year.

 If a storm disrupts a guest’s travel to the resort, Breezes will give a complimentary extension for the same number of nights or the option to stay for fewer nights and receive a voucher to replace the missing days on a future trip. If the resort recommends all guests to reschedule their visit, it gives a voucher for future travel.

 Under the hotel’s Satisfaction Guarantee if someone is not 100 percent pleased with the accommodations and the general manager cannot solve the problem by the second night of the stay, Breezes will provide a credit voucher for the entire value of the unused portion of the stay, which will be valid for up to one year.

 Breezes Bahamas is a beach resort on Cable Beach offering activities such as rock wall climbing, tennis, beach volleyball, kayaking, windsurfing and water skiing. The hotel has a spa called the Blue Mahoe Spa, not included in the inclusive price.

Breezes, a SuperClubs resort, calls its payment model “Super-Inclusive,” which means guests make a single payment for accommodations, all meals and multiple dining options including Continental, Italian and authentic regional cuisine, unlimited premium brand drinks, land and water sports including equipment and instruction, entertainment, weddings, recreational activities and hotel taxes.  Gratuities are included.
