Cancun’s Moon Palace Opens FlowRider Double Wave Simulator
Palace Resorts opened the doors to its new FlowRider Double, a wave simulator, to guests of Moon Palace Golf and Spa Resort. This latest addition to Moon Palace in Cancun is part of a multimillion-dollar enhancement project, and is sure to thrill novices and experts alike.
To inaugurate the new FlowRider Double, Moon Palace invited Peter Mel, award-winning professional surfer and co-star of the feature film “Chasing Mavericks,” to be the first guest to ride the waves at the official launch of this wave simulator.
Mel’s son, John Mel, who at 13 years old is one of the youngest prodigies of the sport, was also a special guest at the interactive inauguration where hotel guests and spectators witnessed the father/son duo in surfing action.
The FlowRider Double is the latest addition to Palace Resorts’ growing menu of family-focused all-inclusive amenities, branded under the Family Connections concept. Guests who book a stay of five nights or more can take advantage of Palace Resorts’ $1,500 Resort Credit offer.
