Choice Hotels International Opens 40 New Hotels in June

Choice Hotels International, Inc. announced 40 newly-opened franchised properties during June. The openings include hotels in 18 states and six additional countries, adding more than 3,000 rooms to the company’s existing 485,000-plus rooms.

Select properties that opened in June include Sleep Inn, Brooklyn, N.Y.; Cambria Suites, Roanoke, Va.; Inn of Capitol Park, an Ascend Collection hotel, Sacramento, Calif.; and Clarion Hotel Lourdes, Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

Other Choice brand hotels that opened in June include Comfort Inn and Comfort Inn & Suites in Arcachon, France; Asheboro, N.C.; Crestview, Fla.; Glenpool, Okla.; Harriman, Tenn.; Jinzhou, China; Key West, Fla.; Nagambie, Australia; Payson, Ariz.; Raleigh, N.C.; Ribeirao Preto, Brazil; Shepherdsville, Ky.; Surrey, Canada; and Watertown, N.Y. Comfort Suites opened in Altoona, Penn.; Elkton, Md.; Florence, Ala.; Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; Waxahachie, Texas; Quality Inns opened in Calera, Ala.; Greenville, Ala.; Prince Albert, Canada; South Hutchinson, Kan.; Troy, Ala.; and Woodside, N.Y. A Sleep Inn opened in Humble, Texas. A Clarion Hotel opened in Bangalore, India. Econo Lodges opened in Buttonwillow, Calif.; Chillicothe, Mo.; Evanston, Wyo.; Kissimmee, Fla.; Merrill, Wis.; Mt. Gambier, Australia; and Orlando, Fla. Rodeway Inns opened in Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Salt Lake City, Utah.
