CLIA Creates Membership Category for Non-cruise Vendors
The Cruise Lines International Association has added a membership category for hotel companies, technology providers, destinations and ports.
The Allied Membership program is designed to enable travel suppliers to connect with CLIA travel agencies, and gives existing CLIA members access to an increased range of products related to cruising.
CLIA President and CEO Terry Dale said non-cruise members will gain the ability to reach frontline travel professionals and access valuable information and research.
Allied membership benefits include preferred rates and increased recognition for participation in Cruise3sixty as an exhibitor or workshop presenter; representation in an Allied E-News Flash that will be distributed by CLIA to its member agencies; the right to display the CLIA Allied Member logo on company or organization Web sites, stationery and promotional materials; and the ability to submit and review listings, special offers and targeted sales databases on CLIA’s Web site, Cruising.org.
CLIA’s Allied Member Center will be located in the members-only area of the Travel Agent Center on Cruising.org, beginning June 1.
