Costa Rica’s Tabacón Grand Spa Thermal Resort Offers Spa Packages

Costa Rica’s Tabacón Grand Spa Thermal Resort is offering 2010 Yin and Yang spa packages featuring indigenous treatments designed to promote wellness and relaxation and include immersion in Tabacón’s thermal springs, plus Tandoor and Ayurveda cuisine. The three-night packages are available through Nov. 15, 2010.
The Yin packages are priced at $1,487 and offer three nights in a superior premium room for two, a tropical welcome cocktail, two 40-minute volcanic mud wraps, two mud masks, Temazcal at Ave del Paraiso for two, native Indian sweat lodge access for two, one Tandoor dinner at Ave del Paraiso for two, and one Ayurveda dinner for two at Los Tucanes restaurant plus daily entrance to the thermal mineral springs.
Yang packages are priced at $1,787 and offer three nights in a superior premium room for two people, welcome cocktail, fruit basket, two 30-minute back massages, two deep facials, two chocolate warmth wraps, Temazcal at Ave del Paraiso for two, native Indian sweat lodge access, one Tandoor lunch at Ave del Paraiso, and two Ayurveda dinners for two at Los Tucanes plus daily entrance to the thermal mineral springs.
Additional nights are available for $350 each. Featuring 11 open-air bungalows, Tabacón’s Grand Spa is located in a rainforest at the base of the Arenal Volcano surrounded by mineral-rich thermal springs and exotic gardens.
