Cuba's Caracol Attends FITCuba with Great Offers

Upgrading service excellence is the main driving force behind Caracol, the Cuban commercial company that’s attending this 36th edition of the International Tourism Fair with a sample of assorted products aimed at pleasing international travelers.
Handicrafts, Image Cuba fabrics, rums, cigars and coffee are some the products Caracol is showcasing in this year’s tradeshow. And customers can find everything they need at the local stores the company runs nationwide. Three outlets selling those products are currently installed on the fair’s premises.
Caracol is also offering, right at the entrance of the San Carlos de la Cabaña fortress, an enhancement of the La Triada store, home to famous cigar roller Jose Castelar, better known as Cueto, who holds five Guinness World Records after rolling the world’s longest cigars.
“During the course of the fair, Cueto’s latest record-breaking cigar will be displayed, an 81.8-meter-long stogie,” said Caracol’s marketing manager Estela Doyle Lorenzo.
But that’s not just what Caracol has to offer in this edition of FITCuba. “We’ve planned on staging a number of activities that include fashion shows, such as the Valerio Luna Collection, or the one prepared by Cuban company Boga and Spanish brand Desigual, whose only store in Cuba is nestled in the Comodoro Hotel,” Mrs. Doyle went on to explain.
In the same breath, attendees could enjoy the performance of Havana Compass Dance, the Bamboleo Band and the promotional presentations of Suchel S.A., Cuba Ron S.A. and Havana Club.
This year -Mrs. Doyle added- Caracol is keen on strengthening all products targeting international tourism and stepping up its presence in cruise terminals, let alone introducing new world-class brands.
