Design Hotels Welcomes New Member in Mexico

Design Hotels has a new member in Guadalajara. Casa Fayette opened last month with 37 rooms and suites, which are broken down into six categories. This hotel, part of Grupo Habita, also has a restaurant, bar, terrace, pool and rooftop spa.

The property was originally a 1940s mansion with an Art Deco design. On the second floor of the property there will be a pool, bar and terrace, which Grupo Habita includes in their Mexico and New York hotels.

Dimorestudio created the hotel's aesthetics, which were inspired by a traditional Jaliscan design. The color palette is filled with blues and greens, including touches like hand-blown glass, marble flooring and locally-sourced textiles and ceramics.
