Dominica Offers Variety of Valentine Packages

This Valentine’s Day, Dominica’s hotels and restaurants are preparing exclusive Valentine’s Day packages/menus. Jungle Bay Resort & Spa’s Jungle Spa Adventure Package with Romantic Upgrade package includes accommodations in luxury cottages that are on stilts and feature a balcony with hammock and a tropical showering experience and an indulgent massage for two in the private ocean-view couples spa studio.

A special Valentine’s dinner menu will also be prepared for all couples at their open-air pavilion restaurant overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Rates start at $269 per person per night. The Fort Young Hotel will be preparing an elite menu just for Valentine’s Day, which will be priced at $46 per person. Those who want to spend the entire evening at Fort Young Hotel after dinner will receive a special room rate for that one night.

Calibishie Cove’s Romantic Escapes package includes seven nights accommodation in the Paradise Penthouse, a bottle of champagne, extra flowers, candlelit dinner, one waterfall tour and a one-day kayak rental to explore Dominica’s coast, river and island. Rates begin at $1,595 per couple.

Calibishie Lodges offering a special candlelight Valentine’s dinner at their Bamboo Restaurant. The dinner will include a free Ocean Breeze cocktail for each person, which consists of coconut rum and pineapple juice. Dinner is priced at $32 per person and each couple will receive a Valentine present.

Comfortel De Champ is offering their guests a special romantic wine and cheese for two, while enjoying the view of Prince Rupert Bay and the town of Picard. All of the platters will be combined with a bottle of self-imported Spanish wines. To complete this Valentine experience, the hotel will be offering a dessert accompanied with a glass of Spanish champagne. Prices start at $36.
