Dominica Resort to Join Ascend Collection

The 40-room Atlantique View Resort & Spa on Dominica will be part of Choice Hotels' Ascend Collection when it opens this fall. The resort is in Anse De Mai in northeastern Dominica, a 20-minute drive from Melville Hall Airport.

Facilities include a restaurant, a spa and fitness center, a pool and a small conference center. Future plans call for an additional 50 guestrooms. Other Ascend Collection properties in the Caribbean are Le Consulat in Puerto Rico and Royale Caribbean Resort & Spa in Anguilla. Belle Rive in Haiti is under development.
