DoubleTree by Hilton Opens First Hotel in Mexico City

DoubleTree by Hilton has opened a newly renovated, upscale, full-service hotel in Mexico City, just a few miles from the heart of Zocalo, the city’s center. The 96-room DoubleTree by Hilton Mexico City Airport is minutes from the Benito Juarez Mexico City Airport (MEX).

The DoubleTree by Hilton Mexico City formerly was an independent hotel and is owned and operated by Operadora de Hoteles y Restaurantes ITER, S.A. de C.V under a franchise license agreement with a subsidiary of Hilton Worldwide.

Renovations to the DoubleTree by Hilton Mexico City Airport are ongoing and include guest rooms and baths and the hotel’s fitness center. The property is near Parque Tezontle Mall, a Six Flags theme park, local museums, including the stunning Museo de Antropologia, and performance venues such as Palacio de los Deportes, Foro Sol and Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, providing a variety of activities and attractions for travelers of all ages. Numerous corporate offices including Schneider Electric, Deloitte, Grainger, Cooper Tools and Affinia are less than a mile away.

Rooms are enhanced with granite bathrooms; mini fridge; complimentary wireless, high-speed internet access, spacious work desks with ergonomic chairs; 42-inch, high-definition, LCD TVs; MP3-compatible alarm clocks; plush bedding and combed cotton linens. Wolfgang Puck gourmet in-room coffee and tea service and Crabtree & Evelyn Citron bath and body products round out the amenity package.

The hotel’s onsite restaurant, La Hacienda, known for its prime steaks and first-class service, also serves the brand’s signature Wake Up DoubleTree Breakfast, which includes hot entrees and healthy options to start the day right.
