Economy Resort to Open in Ocho Rios

Mystic Ridge Resort in Ocho Rios, formerly Crane Ridge Comfort Suites, will open Dec. 15. The 135-room property has hotel rooms and apartment rentals. It is owned by Mystic Ridge Jamaica Ltd., which also owns the nearby Mystic Mountain Rainforest Adventures.

“We are reinvesting in Ocho Rios because we believe in its strength as a tourism destination to showcase Jamaica’s range of adventures, beaches, dining and entertainment,” said Chairman Mike Drakulich.

Amenities include free Wi-Fi in rooms and public areas and an on-site restaurant and bar. Rates from Dec. 23 through April 9 start at $95 per standard room, per night, single/double, including complimentary continental breakfast.
