Former Hedonism III Reopens as SuperFun Beach Resort
The all-inclusive SuperFun Beach Resort & Spa, formerly SuperClubs’ Hedonism III resort, opened Oct. 14 in Runaway Bay on Jamaica’s north coast.
The property had been closed since Aug. 22 for the rebranding. SuperClubs dropped Hedonism’s erotic theme in favor of a “lively, fun vacation for couples and singles over 18,” according to Paul Pennicook, president of International Lifestyle, the worldwide representative of SuperClubs.
“The specific niche market which Hedonism Resorts traditionally attracted will continue to be served by our 280-room Hedonism II resort,” Pennicook said.
Facilities at SuperFun include 210 rooms and 15 suites, four restaurants, six bars, an elevated see-through Jacuzzi, a four-story waterslide, three pools and a spa. The resort will offer a small, clothing-optional beach but no nude pool.
Rates cover meals, accommodations, drinks, activities, entertainment and taxes. Not included are transfers, motorized water sports and premium-brand liquors.
SuperFun’s target market is “the wallet-conscious adult traveler or couples in their 20s, 30s and 40s looking for an all-inclusive fun vacation, minus some of the amenities included in our higher-priced, super-inclusive Breezes and Hedonism II plans,” Pennicook said.
An introductory rate starting at $77 per person, per night, double must be booked by Nov. 15 for travel through Dec. 15.
