Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya to Offer Enhanced Ocean Activities

The All Inclusive Collection, which launched in January, disclosed plans to significantly enhance guests’ ocean experience at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya when it is rebranded next year. The hotel will feature such in-ocean activities as water slides and zip lines, a sunken reef and swim-up bar.

“We’re elevating the ocean experience and labeling it better than a beach,” said Frank Maduro, vice president of marketing for the All Inclusive Collection, during a weekend of festivities celebrating the Aug. 1 reflagging of the Hard Rock Hotel Cancun. “We’re really changing up the way people think and look at all-inclusive resorts. Now no longer will they think, ‘Yeah, they have all drinks and meals.’ Now they can enjoy a full family or couples experience within the destination.”

The All Inclusive Collection last week raised the Hard Rock flag on the former Palace Hard Rock and Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta. The company’s first Hard Rock resort, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana, opened in early 2011.
