Hard Rock Unveils Plans for New Casino Resort in Aruba

Hard Rock International has signed an agreement to develop a Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Aruba. The government of Aruba selected Southwest Horeca Development, to build the 310-room, beachfront Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

When it opens, Hard Rock would manage the day-to-day operations of the property. While plans are in advanced stages, finalized contracts and financing details are still pending.

Aruba’s Hard Rock Hotel & Casino would be located near the capital of Oranjestad close to “old city” attractions and the beach. The property will include multiple restaurants, a casino and an entertainment experience exclusive to Hard Rock.

In addition to the two flagship Seminole Hard Rock Hotels and Casinos in Tampa and Hollywood, Fla., Hard Rock hotel/casinos are located in Las Vegas, Biloxi, Orlando, Chicago, San Diego, Pattaya, Bali, Macau, Penang, Singapore, Punta Cana and Panama. Additional hotel and casino projects have been announced, including Cancun and Vallarta scheduled to open in 2012; and Riviera Maya, Hungary and Abu Dhabi, scheduled to open in 2013.
