Driftwood Hospitality Management has completed a $13 million renovation of the 520-room Hilton Tampa Downtown. Before it was acquired by Driftwood late last year the property operated as a Hyatt.

The lobby has been renovated to include a Technology Lounge with Mac computers and comfortable chairs. Each guestroom now boasts a Hilton Serenity Bed, and bathrooms were refitted with granite and marble.

Other room amenities include work areas with Wi-Fi, iHome stereo with an iPod docking station, mini-refrigerators and coffee makers. Suites now feature upgraded kitchenettes, spa tubs and pool views. The property also boasts a Starbucks, bar and restaurant.
