Hyatt’s New Adult All-Inclusive Opens in Cancun

Hyatt, which announced its plans to enter the all-inclusive market in June, has opened the adults-only Hyatt Zilara Cancun in the Hotel Zone.

The property features 307 rooms, including 47 junior suites, 93 premium ocean view suites, 113 premium ocean front junior suites, 30 premium ocean front deluxe suites, 17 swim-up suites and seven presidential suites. Standard room amenities include hot tubs, “spa-style” bathrooms with jetted showers and minibars.

The resort boasts six restaurants and eight bars and lounges. Dining options include Teppanyaki, Mexican, seafood, gourmet and tapas restaurants. Bars include European style coffee house, a Tequileria & Cigar Club, a martini bar and wine bar.

The property also boasts 6,888 square feet of meeting space, fitness center, ocean view swimming areas with swim-up bars and a lounge with pool tables.

Hyatt’s new family all-inclusive brand, Ziva, opened its first resort in Los Cabos on Nov. 1. The property features 619 rooms, eight restaurants, six bars and lounges and 35,000 square feet of meeting space.

Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall in Jamaica, which is currently being renovated, is slated to open late next year.
