Hyatt Place Makes South America Debut

The Hyatt Place Santiago/Vitacura opened in Santiago, Chile, marking the debut of the brand in South America.

Expansion will continue in Latin America later this year with anticipated Hyatt Place openings in Mexico and Panama. The first Hyatt Place outside the U.S. opened in Costa Rica in 2012.

The 160-room Santiago property is in the Vitacura neighborhood, 20 minutes from the airport and near three main business districts, shops and city attractions.
