InterContinental Nordelta Tigre-Buenos Aires Opens in Argentina
InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) announced the opening of the 149-room InterContinental Nordelta Tigre-Buenos Aires Hotel, Residences & Spa, the company’s ninth property in Argentina. The hotel is owned by Complejo Bahia, S.A. and will be managed under a long-term agreement by IHG’s Americas division.
The property is located in the northern part of Buenos Aires, approximately 20 miles from the city center. The hotel features a spa, fitness center, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, six meeting rooms with a capacity of up to 600 people, two restaurants and a bar. Guests will also enjoy a convenient location on the Lago Central featuring a marina, boat slips and direct entry to the Rio Lujan, which provides access to a wide range of water sports and recreational activities. The Nordelta district offers amenities including residences, restaurants, shops, a marina and a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course, plus a shopping mall, medical center, sports club, soccer and tennis facilities, playgrounds and a private country club.
“The opening of the new InterContinental Nordelta coupled with its broad array of amenities has created one of Buenos Aires’ most appealing destinations, ideal for both the business and leisure traveler,” said Jim Anhut, chief development officer, IHG, Americas.
