Jamaica Promotes Getaways at City Transportation Hubs in the U.S.
The Jamaica Tourist Board has launched a promotional blitz in four U.S. cities. The program, called the Jamaica Winter Rescue, features events at commuter terminals in New York, Philadelphia, Boston and Chicago.
Events will take place in New York City’s Port Authority Bus Terminal on Jan. 6, 13, 20, 27 and Feb. 3; Boston’s South Street Station on Jan. 13; Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station on Jan. 15; and Chicago’s Union Station on Jan. 15.
The events will feature Jamaican music, food and drink; giveaways; and a chance to win a trip to Jamaica.
The Jamaica Winter Rescue program also includes advertising on large floor mats, ceiling banners and posters in New York’s Port Authority Bus Terminal. In all four cities, Jamaica ads will be displayed atop taxicabs.
