Magdalena Grand Beach Resort Launches Own Online Booking Engine for Guest Convenience

The brand-new, 200-room Magdalena Grand Beach Resort in Tobago has launched an online website booking engine, which is accessible via http://www.MagdalenaGrand.com. The booking engine allows travel agents a direct approach to reserving rooms for their clients at the resort and adding optional on-site packages and amenities with user friendly functionality.

Travel agents can book through the Magdalena Grand Beach Resort webpage by clicking on the "Travel Agent" tab at the top of the page. As an incentive for booking the resort, travel agents will earn a 12% commission on all reservations made by June 30, 2012.

"We are excited to give travel agents direct online booking options that provide them with an easy and accessible alternative to other booking sites," said Nikolas Eastwick-Field, principal, efm Hospitality Solutions, the resort's operator. "We are constantly looking for ways to make the vacation experience as smooth as possible from initial booking until guest departure," added Eastwick-Field.

Through the online reservation process, travel agents are given descriptions and pricing for Magdalena Grand Beach Resort's various room categories. In addition, travel agents can select add-on options for their clients such as an 18-hole or 9-hole round of golf on the PGA-designed 18-hole championship golf course. In the near future, dive options will also be featured on the site.

"We have the ability to do a lot of things with this booking engine that allow us to tailor individual and group reservations," Eastwick-Field said.

For travel agents booking groups with a minimum of nine rooms, including corporate meetings, weddings or reunions, the resort has the capability of building a private URL, which features customized packages and is accessible solely by the individuals that are part of the group.

The Magdalena Grand Beach Resort is a 15-minute drive from A.N.R Robinson International Airport in Tobago and is situated on the 750-acre Tobago Plantations Estate, a gated community of luxury villas, condos and bungalows.
