Marriott International to Open Voronezh Hotel in Russia in 2015

Marriott International will manage the new 220-room Voronezh Marriott Hotel about 300 miles south of Moscow when it opens in 2015. Marriott currently operates 14 hotels in Russia.

Voronezh is a regional business hub where aviation, logistics and manufacturing are the mainstay industries. Tourism to the city is increasing given the city’s relative proximity to Moscow on the main transport route, coupled with an attractive city center, parks, public squares, theaters, monuments and churches.

The hotel will be located on Prospekt Revolyutsii, the epicenter of Voronezh life and an historic avenue lined with cafés, restaurants and shops. Leisure facilities will include a health club with fitness center, sauna, steam room and spa treatment rooms.
