Marriott to Operate Business Hotel in Jamaica's Capital

Marriott will manage a business hotel in the Knutsford Park area of New Kingston, Jamaica. Construction is slated to begin in 2012 with a projected opening in 2014, according to Marriott. The property is owned by Pan Jamaican Investment Trust.

Nearby existing hotels include the Wyndham Kingston, the Courtleigh and the Spanish Court Hotel. The 250-room Sandals City, Sandals' first business hotel, is tentatively scheduled to open in late 2012 or early 2013.
