Martinique Tourist Board Cites Post-Strike Calm

A spokesman for the Martinique Tourist Board announced that with the strike in Guadeloupe settled, Martinique remains calm, though the strike is still ongoing.

Several of the wire services have noted that the strike in Martinique is “losing steam” as businesses begin to reopen without disruption.

The situation for stay-over tourists remains the same as it has during the entire duration of the strike; i.e.: minimal disruptions with the airport and all hotels remaining open and accommodating guests.
