ME By Melia to Open London Flagship Property in December

ME by Meliá will launch its flagship hotel, the MELondon, in December. The hotel is Foster + Partners’ first U.K. hotel project and the first for which they have designed all of the interiors and exteriors.

Nestled in Marconi House, the original London home of BBC radio, ME London has 157 rooms, including 16 suites, and an ultra-luxurious Suite ME and a two-floor penthouse in the turret of the building. Room rates start from £340 ($541) per night excluding VAT.

Each guest's stay will be orchestrated by a dedicated "Aura Experience Manager," whose job it is to know the city back to front and use this knowledge to make the hotel's service truly bespoke.

Dining outlets include STK, a New York Steakhouse concept; The ONE Group, serving American grill-style dishes; Cucina Asellina, an authentic Italian restaurant; Radio, a rooftop terrace lounge; and the Marconi Lounge in the lobby.
