NH El Rancho Hotel Set to Open in Haiti

One more step in the reconstruction of Haiti will take place in October when the NH El Rancho Hotel opens in Petion-Ville, a suburb of Port-au-Prince.

The 72-room property, originally built in 1950, was heavily damaged in the 2010 earthquake and has been rebuilt from the ground up, according to the Ministry of Tourism.

Facilities at the hotel include a heated outdoor pool, a restaurant featuring Haitian and international cuisine, a lobby bar, a business center and several meetings rooms. All rooms have balconies, soundproof windows, an in-room safe and satellite TV.
